This is a great poem! It reminds me (and us all) that we can look at God as our best friend-the one we can really rely on and completely trust. I think people forget that sometimes, especially when things seem their worst.
We had our annual Christmas funeral the Thursday after Christmas (we've had many Christmas funerals in my family in the past 21 years), and the odd thing was, that it was not such an unhappy event. Doris (my brother's mother-in-law) was a person of deep faith, and in the celebration of her life, all were confident she'd spent her Christmas day in Heaven. It was good day.
Thank you for one more reminder of God's love.

Thank you for sharing this lovely free verse poem about how good and gracious God is. Yes, what a blessing to have Him as our Friend and Savior. I especially liked the last line -- Praise God that He is fully in charge of whatever happens.
