A charming story. I always love pet stories, and it's wonderful when a cat or dog finds a forever home. This was so interesting because the kitty was found on Christmas. Thank you so much Helen. This is from a picture I found on here. We did not get another cat and I now know why. When we came home all of our kitties were hiding in places away from our son who took care of them. lol He was good to them but was not their fur mommy or daddy! They are happy we are home as are we! lol love, Teri

Ah, your poor kitties. Hope all's back to normal. Our cat ate very little if we left. It's like she wanted to make sure the food would last.

This is an adorable little 50 word story. I counted twice and both times I came up with 51 words. ( I could be wrong) This needs to be in the contest, please count again.

Sleepy Simon is a very lucky little guy. I'm not surprised, though, because I know your love of animals. I know you'll enjoy him for many more Christmases.

God sent you a special Christmas present that year. It's uncanny for me. Every time I lose one, another literally waits on the door step for me. Even my vet says God replaces the lost one.

A cat has no problems when searching for a home. The problems come when he has to train his human caregivers.

How cute! Sleepy Simon looks exactly like Tiger, a feral cat that lives in my garden. We met him around a year ago and started feeding him and now he loves us!
