This is a clever write and how you were able to write the dielectric is amazing! The accent came out so well and I heard your words! This is not easy to write, love Dolly x

Thank you, Dolly. The accents are fun for me, but tough for readers. Bill

Perhaps you could add a note to read the words phonetically? This may help. The spanish language is phonetic, but English often isn?t. I read your words out load so that I could understand them and hey presto I was speaking like a yank! Love Dolly x

Another good chapter in your Aardvark tale.
Although I am having a little trouble understanding some of the lingo.
Well done.
I'm looking forward to the next bit.

This had me foaring:

Bear: Zo yo haf mayd aughter mockink bobbies wif thees craytons?

Aardvark: I'll be gintle.

Priceless, Aadvark, priceless! With that tubular snout, and the long extensible tongue, too good to reserve only for the termites, heaven's the girl will have the time of her life!

Great piece, Bill.

Thanks, Aki, for giving this a look. The aardvark has high hopes. This is Aardvark World, after all; he ought to leave an impression somewhere.

It's hard at times to understand the creatures. Reading it out loud helps. I like the premise. It made me think about breeders who like to mate two different types of animals. Defects often result.
Image crossing a cockroach with an ant. LOL.

I limited myself to Bear and Aardvark. I know they both need a couple run through so to make sense. Thanks for checking it out, Shari.

Yes, I like to story and Lion's guardianship over the undisciplined group. The group falls into place nicely as they prepare for their journey.

Story still good, but it may be going a little too fast for me. I don't remember talk of a permanent detachment in #7. Humor, as always, is sharp and appreciated. I look forward to your next.

The story begins in Aardvark World 6.

Since I had not been following this play, I appreciated your synopsis and the picture to establish the setting. I enjoyed the accent in contrast with the more science-speak. Fortunately, my "panth" are safe! Smiles- Joan

Aardvark 7 is still promoted, Joan. That might catch you up. This is just the fourth scene.

Whoa, it's gettin' stinky in here. is this just a clever ruse for everybody to get laid? A bunch of different creatures getting it on with each other in the hopes of creating some hybrid race of beings. I don't blame the bear for being concerned about his possible future grand children looking funny.

It seems to have worked, and it only took three thousand years.

I couldn't help myself laughing at how they must populate the planet, lol! I think I'm learning a new language here, Bill, I can almost understand it all now! Loved the ending! LOL. :) Sandra xx

Thanks, Sandra. Careful -- once you understand it, then you have to find the double entendres and foreshadowing.

Oh, that makes sense. If the sun goes nova, Pluto may be far enough away to survive, especially if it can drift into a wider orbit somehow. I think Ardvark needs some speech lessons. He's really hard to understand. :)

I'm trying to imagine talking with this huge tongue. Thanks for giving it a look, Phyllis. Bill

I see. Well, that certainly explains it. I do figure out what he says, just have to read twice.
