Thank you! I have his Vets for Trump sticker on my car, my golf cart, and my lawn mower reports I am a DEPLORABLE. I still wear my red hat everywhere (no matter what my wife says). There are certainly more of us at this venue than I expected!!!

It's refreshing to hear some positive words about our president, who we as Americans should stand behind regardless of our political affiliations. I don't agree with everything that president trump stands for, but I support the leader of our country. Congratulations on winning the contest.

2014 Beetle convertible. I am nearly 70 and sometimes I ask car admirers, "Don't you think an old man looks good in a car like this?"Once I told my wife when leaving for work, "I'm not going to work today. I'm just going to ride around and pick up chicks." She replied, "That means you'll be home early, right?" Anyway, thanks or the nice note. I was really surprised, never expecting anything but flak from a bunch of poets. Who knew there are some conservative poets? I always take a stand for my man! I'm a Navy Vet and I bought those stickers on line along with several red MAGA hats starting May of last year. Probably still available. Try the Trump fundraiser site. Thanks again! Reese

I am deeply honored at your nice score on my poem even though you do not agree with the content. That reflects a class and honesty rarely seen these days. My old sailor's salute to you this Veterans Day and my suggestion to you that he could deliver on more promises if he could just get a little help in DC. Reminds me of a saying I learned in the Navy: "When you are up to your ass in alligators, it is hard to remember that your goal was to DRAIN THE SWAMP! Thanks!

This old Navy vet has had a great day: Was honored to be speaker at a local school's Veterans Day program, had a great dinner out with my wife, then got home to find some great reviews, a lead in the contest and topped by your 6 star salute! Wow! I am so proud of Trump for all he has done WITHOUT ANY HELP! We are going to stay with him! Many thanks!

Our president is doing a GREAT job especially considering the NO HELP he gets even from his own side! Thanks for your support of him and of my poem. We will stay with him all the way! God Bless
