Hahaha, what a great little poem! After rereading several times, I think you do set us up for the final line, but it isn't obvious. I loved your picture also.

Haha, this gave me a goog..oops I mean a giggle when I got to the clincher because I thought it was a nicely rhymed bit of Lord praising and then I find this poem is infact a literary shrine to my mate and yours, Google.

I have a poem started about him myself in a similar vein
He really DOES have all the answers don't he?!
Anyways, one line I didn't like. It felt a bit clumsy and awkward with the "I've only" preceding the rest:
I realize I've only to turn to you.
I mean I know what it's saying and I understand the abbreviations but it just felt a little odd to my ear.
Some suggestions to smooth or improve might be:
I realize I only need turn to you
I realize I need only turn to you
I realize I just have to turn to you
Enjoyed the read immensely anyway and best of luck in the contest. This has my vote on comedy value.

I really like this poem. It is such a smart idea. I truly appreciate Mr. Google too. No matter what question you ask of it, it gives you a thorough answer immediately. Google is amazing and I am so happy that I don't have to go to my many, many, many books anymore to do the research. All I do now is google everything. They do all of the work for me and so this thank you is so appropriate.

Seriously, Google is wonderful, and I thank him/her, as well. I find it difficult to trusty most sources on the web without verification, but Google is a good jumping off place.

Robyn thanks. You are the first one that has realized this was a bit of fun and not serious. I never use Google for writing only Wikipedia mainly. X
