Nice sensual personification of winter taking the land from us. It shows how we want to hang on to Spring and Fall but Winter finally comes.

That's the first time I've heard the coming of winter has an act of sex. But it makes sense. The total takeover of winter that penetrates the land. This beautifully written and I love the sexy picture to drive the point home.

This is one of the best personification of winter poems that I have read. I love the eroticism that you have expressed in this poem. The metaphors work so well in this poem.
