Hi Maria. When we cannot, many times it's the small things that cheer us up--like the daisy on the doorstep. The trick is to recognize the tiny joys they bring to us. I enjoyed reading your poem. Marilyn

Nicely done. Things happen over and over and we start to question everything, then all it takes is one thing out of the ordinary to make it worthwhile

My impression of this poem is: what does a person do at the time of helpless? It shows in the line. "What do you do when you cannot? When fear sits in within your heart and your eyes become a haunted pond."

Yes, bloom where you are planted. Be grateful and don't give up. Enjoy life's wonders.i liked your poem it's so expressive,. Life is an emotional puzzle many times. It's hrd to know our purpose, but one them is to feel as much as possible for compassion.

We hang on and wait for better times. Turning to God always makes a difference.
I like the repeating line. Each stanza has presents a different scenario.

A great poem. I love how it all comes together at the end in a very positive way. It is very true, we just keep on living. It is the right way to go.

We all have time when it seems we cannot. I know for me there are becoming more of those times as I struggle with my health. What do I do? Basically i press on to the time my days will end and the struggles will be over. But for now I will do what I can to possibly bless a soul or two along my way. Patricia

I liked your poem very much. A sadness etched it's way through your words, yet, your ending was such a sweet resolve to what pain the reader may have felt.
I also liked the repeated message and the last line of your poem. That line brought your message very clear.
Excellent.
