Good while short it gets the point across but I would have liked to see the child's picture super imposed on the picture of and elderly person.

Your intriguing title and charming artwork drew me into your poem. I hope that many of us can proudly say that we have made "footprints in life". Best wishes in the contest. Bones popping and aching! -Joan

Sad we come into this life so fragile and unsuspecting and in the end we leave the world the same way most of the times others sometime go unexpectedly before their time.

Good poem with the perfect picture. Truth speaks here as we go from birth to death in just a short time. Life is longer for some because of the way they live it, and shorter for some because of how they live it. Good job of putting life into perspective, it slips away fast so we need to be ready to meet our maker when the end comes.

Solid little poem. You capture the existence of every person who has ever lived.

We are born. We die. Nothing in between is the certain, or the same. In this, though, we are one.

Stellar short poem.

A huge circle
if we can keep the circle unbroken before we return from whence we came
we are doing well
many chinks in the circles chain can weaken and mame but the the story must go full circle whether it be a few hours a few years or 3 score and ten
good work
blessings
have a smiley day

FIVE STARS. AMAZING PHOTO. This poem shockingly punched me in the face with such a realistic view of alpha and omega. Such a strong view on birth and life and how we end of after we leave our "footprints on the sands of time." Check out mine, also, and my 2 books. lolol liberty justice

Good poem that says all there is about life. One suggestion, though. I don't think the word "quickly" is best here. Life is long. How about saying "I finally die"?

Thanks for the review and kind words. Your taking time to read my work, "Is an honor!" Quickly = 1 syllable Finally=2.
However Proudly=1 and I went with it. Staying with "Exactly" 20-syllables for the poem--was hard. Thank you for the
input. I listen when "Phyllis speaks!" God bless.

This is a very well written Short poem you have penned for the contest. You used very great descriptive wording that followed life from start to finish and the precious little picture of the baby pretty much said it all! Best wishes in the contest my friend! Teri

junglefighter,

This Short Poem entry is succinct, pithy and brutally honest. In between the Greek Alpha and Omega, the footprints make all the difference. Nicely done! :0 GracieAnn
