What a fun poem about this dreaded 'holiday'(?) What IS Friday the Thirteenth? It's not a holiday - what do you call it? Just an 'observance' or something like that? I don't know!

Anyway, you had some great points in here. My favorite stanza was:

So many feel this day is real
Danger comes at every corner
Fear embraces the nightly chorus
For Friday the 13th is notorious

And I thought the following was a really smart line:
Still home is not a finding relief

Sad, but true! Thanks so much!

Yes, I'm glad the day has passed and it even prevented me from going on a shopping trip, I left it until today just in case! They showed he movie on the TV too! Your poem is a tribute to the day, love Dolly x

Don't be superstitious. Nothing will happen on Friday the 13th that cannot happen on Saturday the 14th.
