Hi Sandra, fantastic artwork for this wonderfully descriptive poem. Something is alluring and beautiful about a lilac colored moon. Great use of alliteration with mesmerized my mind.

Very nice, Sandra. The moon and mood are very subtle in this poem. I like the straight-forward approach and your use of internal rhyme (eye(s) and sky / below and know / shore and adore)

Sandra, this is a great free verse poem - I really enjoyed it. I think it is my favorite of all your poems that I have read. It has a way of taking the reader to a special place - I love the picture too. Beautiful! ~DD

This reads very smoothly. I like your use of "lilac" for the color as it seems to fit the color in the picture well. It's a more gentle, pastel color than full strength purple.

Oh, this is quite lovely, Sandra - beautiful imagery, and I can barely believe you actually managed to find a video with a picture of a sky that DOES have purple hues.

"I look from the shore, I truly adore..." - I feel it! And I adore your poem.
