Hahahaha! G'day Elaine.
It's been a long time, mate. I hope you've been well.
This is a lot of fun about the little puss who thinks she's Elvis or something. I enjoyed the misspellings as it fits purrrfectly with the theme.
Very entertaining stuff.
Cheers Fez

Very cute Halloween poem about a very musically talented kitty-kat! Love the way the rhythm flows and your "purrrfectly" worded descriptions of this future pet-star! Great job!

mermaids - beautiful picture of the black cat and a fun and loving poem to match. I enjoyed the entertainment offered in this piece, especially liking the line - "skeletons lose bones". Great job! ~DD
"feline pur(r)sists" - purrhaps another 'r' is required.

This poem was a fun read.
She's a lovely looking cat--just look at those big, round orb eyes.
Most cats think they can sing and some actually try to do just that--especially Tom Cats out at night on the prowl.

Hi there;
Thank you for sharing this cute little poem about your fluffy black cat. I enjoyed the verse, and feel sorry for the little critter who hasn't a real kitty voice.
I used to have a big fluffy black cat. His name was Simba, and he was a big boy. The vet said he had Norwegian Forest cat in him. He weighed over twenty pounds, and he wasn't fat. We lost him when he was eleven years old to prostate cancer, and I find I still miss him.

I just love silly poems as they lift the soul by putting a smile on my face. You told your story well and I think your picture shows a purrfect cat.
All the best.

Hey, this isn't so far out if you've ever heard feral cats howling at night. Melodic, it's not, but better that some karaoke singers.
Best image for me:
skeletons lose bones
as their bodies
disintegrate
Yeap, I get the sound. LOL
