Hello my friend this was a terrible thing to have happened I myself think the gun laws should be changed it might not stop these tragedies completely but it may lower the figures of fatalities well done regards Jill

It's terrible to think you can't go anywhere safely anymore. All those innocent people out to enjoy themselves and this murderer ruins it and so many lives with it. Terrible. Well written my friend. Sandra x

Yeah, gun control is a hard sell in the USA. They won their freedom with guns. The only reason the founding fathers could take control of the newly freed colony was because they had the most guns. People still believe they need enough guns to fight off the army if it ever goes too far.
Should something be done? I say yes, it should. It won't be easy though...

Yes, Debbie. Tragic. He was actually killed by the police with an explosive device thrown into the room, so was dead when the police came through the door, yet, the emphasis is on the guns and their availability.

Thank you for your carefully researched account of the tragedy in the United States in this prose poem. It will probably take a while to unravel all the facts and determine what motivated the culprit to perform such a heinous and demented act. I wish we had the will to take action to limit gun ownership and prohibit military-style weapons or modifications for civilians. Sighs- Joan
