Nice tribute to a dog. If that's your dog in the photo, it's cute.
I get a strong sense of immediacy from this poem. You capture the almost manic energy of a dog wanting out. It leaves questions in my mind. Is this an indoor dog that never tastes outside? Is this an outdoor dog that needs to pee. Are there squirrels that need scaring?
This is the sort of poetry about pets I like.

It is an inside dog, gentle and sweet. If he needed to pee , he didn't bark to go. He is a mischivious little one who is just plain curious about everything. Thank you for your nice review.
