This is cute and so funny and I can't blame him for refusing to let them bring their dung into the place or shake their hands. Guess some beetles have habits they can't break and it is a hard habit to break.

Good story for the competition. Early on, I felt the punctuation was lacking. But it got better once the dialogue began. The dialogue is clever and the fecal twist at the end was a nice touch. You made it important the characters were insects at several points in the story. That was cool. It could have used one or two more jokes or puns to really take it to the next level. As is, I like it. I wish you luck in the contest.

Too funny! Love the characterization of George and Alice in this Bug Story! Brought me back immediately to "All in the Family's" Archie and Edith! This talking scene flowed extremely well and the final straw for poor George was hysterical! Loved it - great job and good luck in the contest!

This story made me laugh aloud with that last line. I love George's attitude about the entire ordeal, and the visualization of the quintessential old married couple. There were a few minor grammatical errors, but, overall, very entertaining.
