Poor Madeline. As if 'Stan and Katelyn weren't enough to send her barking, now Katie too is starting up on her. This one is a tough family to love - except for Madeline. Still, I often feel like yelling at her to stop letting the whole world use her as a doormat.
This house has gone to pot since Madeline left. ~ Good; serves him right.
"That's my name, don't wear it out." - laughed hard here. He's about to eat his own medicine from Katie.

Thank you for your kind review and your continuous support, they always mean a lot to me. With Stan's constant physical and mental abuse, Madeline often feels worthless, putting everyone else's needs in front of her own. That is going to change.
I heard a kid say that once to his parents. You don't know how bad I wanted to pick the kid up and spank him. I'm old school, yes ma'am, no ma'am respect your parents, and butts are there for spanking. So that comment irked me, had to walk away.

What a dysfunctional family. Stan, Katie, and Madeline all need to put into a mental hospital. Each one is selfish to the point of destroying everyone and everything around them, and it will happen if someone doesn't take action to prevent it. Very sad.

Thanks for your nice review. I agree I think they all need psychiatric help, Stan needs a major attitude adjustment, and maybe a powerful tranquilizer to calm him down. Things are about to change.

Katie is such a snob and always gets her way. And Stan is such a bully. Madeline and Marge are two of the best people, but Madeline doesn't stand up against her husband and is abused. While my favorite character is probably Katelyn and is locked up in jail. This is so conflicted. I spotted one mistake.
"Felling her best friend sobbing against her, Marge's anger quickly melts away." Feeling instead of felling.
I really like this story and look forward to future chapters. Keep up the good work!

Wow this went from domestic violence to attempted murder in one chapter. That's the trouble with domestic violence it can escalate so quickly and people do things that they wouldn't normally do. Crimes of passion. Great story, I'm still enjoying it. PM

Thanks for the great review. I am so glad you're still enjoying it. With emotions in high gear, people can lose control very easily, especially if it's your baby that's being hurt.
