DP,

I don't know if I agree with this, my friend. (Sorry.) I'm afraid that this is part of what may be causing part of the problem. Everyone is so careful not to offend anyone these days. When I was coming up, no one cared if your feelings got hurt. And it made me stronger for that knowledge. It wasn't being mean, just realistic. That's the way life is. Nowadays, every one thinks they're entitled to the same things as the guy or girl next door, without having to do the same things to get it. --sigh-- I don't know. The world is changing. It's a big question mark to me.

Thanks -- good luck in the contest. Hugs-

Thanks for the honest comments. I was just trying to say that if the groups like the skinheads and some religious zealots would accept others' differences there would be less violence and war.

I appreciate the good luck wishes.

Yes, no matter the color, we are one people, no matter the religion, we are all children of the Universal God. This is a lovely Lune, blessings...

How true this is. An inclusive society where everyone is respected for what they are is a sure recipe for peace and harmony - especially when it transcends borders and leads to a greater understanding between nations. A thought-provoking poem.

This speaks about world peace, each nation means every country and every citizen is important to participate and ensure the process of bringing world peace; I liked.

Yes, one little bit of hate can grow and spread and ruin it. Thanks for the comments and all the stars,

So true a poem using so few words. No artwork used or needed in this work. If only everyone felt the truth in this Lune. Nice work, Don and Vicki. Good luck in the contest.

Oh, I love you message in the. Everybody does count and world peace could be had if everyone realized that. Perfect syllable count. I like your near end rhymes and slant rhyme. Good luck in the contest.

I love the hope portrayed in this poem. Peace will abound in heaven for sure. As long as people inhabit this earth though I can't imagine us all getting along for too long, unfortunately...BUT we can hope (and pray) can't we?

A wonderful truth said in so few words. The message that if we could ever understand that concept of us all being one, peace would be possible. You tackled a great subject for our times. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed reading your poem. You only had three lines of 5-3-5 syllables because of he requirement of a lune poem, but it is easy to see what you are driving at. There are other requirements besides no one left out for world peace, but that makes it a
good metaphor.

A very well-written Lune poem. Every one have the right as a human being to the next human being. When we can accept others the way they are with their differences the battle is halfway won.
