Hello, You brought me back to where I once belonged. In a world where there is suspense. From Nancy Drew to Hitchcock..solve the mystery book.Even thought I might be a policewoman later on in my life. But destiny and fear of losing my life decided best not.
I loved reading mystery books for a long time. But as time passed got into religion and philosophy, fairytales and fantasy of which well stuck into today. But hey, enjoyed your story and keep them coming.. Will visit you from time to time. Regards and thanks for your review. nartoonla

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and that it brought back pleasant childhood memories. Fairy tales and fantasy aren't too far from Hitchcock's stories with their bizarre endings, lol. Did you like twilight zone and tales of the dark side too? Hope to see you again soon, might even stop by and say hi myself. Thanks again for the review, take care.

Oh my gosh this is a very tense crime. This is very weird and I personally thing that lawyers are rarely the ones guilty of the crime for they're the ones who check whether the crime was done or not. Good job!

Good continuation here. It just keeps getting worse for these two...

Well, you're going to hear them again. Anything you say can and will be used against you..."

The crowd cheers as the officers - delete the errant commas here.

"Serg, Sir," he says, standing up. - I think Sarge is more common.

Sharon's been their medical examiner for nearly thirty years. - as this is written in first person should this not be our medical examiner?

Thanks for the pleasure of reading another of your exciting chapters. Just when I thought things might start happening to clear up all of Larry and Julia's problems, you turned up the heat to boiling over. And as I've said before, every chapter is better than the last. Great job. :-)

Someone went to a lot of trouble to set them up for murder. How absurd to thnk Larry would murder his own wife and daughter. I find this very hard to read. I don't like to see such injustice and misery.

"I'll call your firm (comma) tell them what's going on," Julia says.

"Yeah, yeah (comma) I know my rights," I spat.

"Do they want to expedite?" Do you mean expedite or EXTRADITE.?

Good chapter.

A lot of action in this section.
I'd say Larry is in trouble, but don't know how much. A lot of suppositions here. And the handwriting doesn't match. Of course, he has personal troubles with the murders.

Julia, I dunno. I would think that ankle bracelet might clear her of murder.

I saw no errors.

Thanks for the great review. Your right, the ankle monitor could prove her innocence if they check their records.

After reading 'Guilty Until Proven Innocent', I find that it is an interesting chapter from the book, 'Travesty of Justice'.
If the rest of the chapters are as good as this one, you'll have a good book to sell.
The image shown supports the book.
Thanks for sharing a part of your book.
Good luck with your future writing.
-Nicole-

In the quote: 'I have proof,' Larry yells....- I think it should have an exclamation point after proof. If a person is yelling, they're usually shouting. Just my opinion.

I'm getting confused with this story, but it could just be me, since I've missed portions of it. My guess is one or more of the police officers is in on framing Larry and Julia. I found a few things for your consideration.

"That's enough," The officer impatiently states,--the is lower cased.

tell you we've just arrested Mr Wilson." Mr. Wilson

" Assault and murder." --Just a space before Assault.

"You don't understand officer, our house has been burglarized-- comma before officer.

I'm hoping things will become clearer after the next part.

Have a great day!
Russell

Thank you for your great review and helpful suggestions. I corrected all my mistakes.

I'll see if I can clear it up for you, ok? Julia killed her first husband claiming self-defense this happened in Delaware. She assumed someone else's identity and moved to Arkansas where she supposedly stabbed a second guy who she's on trial for now. Her second husband Bill left with the kids. She's received threats on her and her family's lives if she doesn't leave the state. She can't leave because of the trial and ankle monitor. She's living with her Lawyer/ lover, Larry.

Larry is being blackmailed into taking and winning Vinnie's trial if he loses his family dies. His wife and daughter were just killed.
Your wrong about the police framing them, lol try again.

Thanks again for the great review, take care. If you still have questions about the plot please ask.

"There's a lot more where that came from(,) you snide son of a bitch," I yell, trying to free myself from the officer's grip. I'd just broken loose when a second cop runs over to help him

Oh heaven, this is getting trickier and trickier for both Larry and Julia.
I can't wait to read the next post...
