That had feeling in it. Surely he will love this poem. Makes me reflect upon my life, I too got wee ones which I never met, but someday wil see them all because Jesus is the Lord, son of god, died for our sins - so many are atheists these days, lost, and do not know it. Not many Christians that believe anymore like used to be... see this poem brought out the spiritual side of me and I do not even go to church but I do believe and never stopped believing and watch on TV. BOO is out of nuggets, 5 out of 5 ain't bad. BOO!

Oh, sad, you lost a child. Keep up your good spirits. There are angels and they listen when you lest expect. Cheers bro and I will be a good ghost. I understand your sorrows which is probably unfathomable to understand unless you lost a child. I hope you find happiness and relief from the daily sorrows. BOO can usually tell good guys from bad and you are a good guy. BOO!

I'm happy you have God and His Son back in your life, I'm pleased you have lost the anger that eats you up, and I'm happy you can, at last, celebrate your precious son's life. I'm still so very sorry you had to lose your son the way you did, that will always touch you with sadness, but you have found your way again. Your dedication to your son is just beautiful. I wish the rest of your life be filled with love and contentment, my friend. God bless you. Sandra xxxx

Thanks Sandra,
Anger will consume and surround you and take you...
I had no hate just 'Whys?"
my wife and one daughter went down that road...
Dana did 2 years of her life incarcerated for dealing with her boyfriend
Joe Rodreguise.
{Deceased}
She is a mother and changed today or I would have lost two
Thanks,
Ricky...

Ricky, your tender remembrances break my heart. I know your heart is broken. Do you think it will ever heal? I'm curious. I mean, we've all lost someone... I don't have any fresh deaths on my mind, except dogs I loved as family... I wonder if you believe it will ever get better.

my wife Carolyn had an operation at age 17.
For an appendicitis.
They messed up her flopian tubes. Never meant to have a child.
That is the answer to your question. Read me...

Thanks Linda. At only 18 Jason had the world in his hands but He must have known to much. my wife's gambling problems. Her severe depression.
She was insane.
The house.
Almost lost that for back taxes.
Ten years of Bills turned upside down and stashed in her dresser...
It goes on and on...
$100,00.00 in debt with credit cards...
I forgave her for she gave me three kids but I don't miss her for
killing herself by stopping her meds.
I miss him...
Ricky...

This flowed a little better even though there is no rhyme or reason to sentence structure. Why, may I ask, do you post your chapters in the prose section rather than the poetry section?

Why do you diss-honor my Son's work with four stars?
Ricky1024.
And, I dissagree for my reviews brought tears...
-
I truly don't believe I dishonored your work. It is an author's job to please the reader. It is not the reader's job to please the author. Not every reader is going view a piece the same way. I'm sorry if you are offended.

My heart goes out for the loss of your son at such a young age.
Dianne was 41 years young she died from a brain tumor.
I sure they are the best friend for they are a perfect match, both caring and giving people.
Have a blessed day.

A six star review reply from my reply.
And no problem.
I don't take away unless it is horrid to teach.

This is a powerful piece and well worth posting. You must have quite a collection by now.
Well done.

This reminds me of the poem "The Footprints in the Sand." The poet writes about Jay who is missed and in a the spiritual realm. Thus the following statements
""I once carried Thee at only the age of three...
...
"But now Jay, I need you this day... "
Like the flow and arrangement of content. The poem ends on a sad tone, yet overall the poem is hopeful. Great mix of emotions.

Thanks smbau.
A fine review and the footprint thing about Christ
was where I got the idea for this from.

One set of footprints in the sand. Jesus is carrying you. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is good imagery.

Hi Ricky, I am reading this poem as free verse with some rhyme on missing Jay. Not knowing the circumstances, I am just going on the assumption of missing Jay and pray that all is well. Your spiritual poem focuses on the footprints, which is always a touching thing to remember. Marilyn
