thank you for sharing your timed poem about your feelings for Jay. I'm sure there are always thoughts of him swirling in your mind. Losing a child is never something someone can 'get over.'

Your very touching poem reveals your vulnerability. To lose a child is to lose part of yourself. Through your benevolence, part of Jay will live on in others. But the most important part - your memories, will live in you forever.

It's a mystery, LOL! My husband's sister was famous in the family for asking what "Sprinkle Shenolium" meant when she was little - It was "It's been good to know you" from the song - "So long, it's been good to know you." Her mom figured it out when she sang the tune. Little kids are so much fun that way! All the best.

Such a heartfelt memorial from a father to his son. You have expressed in a very deep way your feelings ab out your son and your grieving--it is just so unnatural for our children to be taken from us--we always expect to go first. I feel your pain.

this would have to be the most common comment. The loss of a child...
'no matter the age...
"no matter the sex...
"Is a sin sponsored by Fate and Destiny...
Thanks Lois and feel free to read more happy pieces...

"Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you've never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. Carry on. Life is wonderful.

Life is what you make of it so...

Well written tribute to "Jay".
One he would no doubt appreciate you taking the time to express.
The loss of someone close to you is never an easy experience, and as this poem indicates, it never ceases with time. No matter how much time passes by.

Ricky,
You did a super job putting your thoughts/feelings/heart into this poem in just 7 minutes. It flows well & tells so much of Jason. I enjoyed that part. I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing such a personal poem. Jan

I don't know how I would be able to deal with a pain such as you have to live with, it is worse than any physical pain you could have. Writing helps, but it's like putting a small plaster on a leg amputation, it isn't enough. I hope one day you will find peace. In the meantime, keep these poems coming, small plasters are betting than nothing. Big hugs, my friend. xxx Sandra
