Your story is that of what occurred is still vivid in your memory about your son, Jay, who because of his death from this Earth... is helping so many survive, and still almost a decade and a half...they are alive, I do think. And really believe he is proud of his dad, as you are of him....in his heavenly home.

God Bless...Caressa_08

Hi Ricky. Sometimes your writing just gets to me. I like many others feel your loss however, I am certain it's like being born into your next experience. Too many things tell me it's not the end only the earthly end. Great write my friend. Sending huggs. xoxo Kiwi

I wish I had the answers Ricky but, I believe we are all on a designated path chosen by us before we are born of our parents. Each of us learn what we need to know and suffer what we need to suffer in order to be released and renewed within grace to see this life through. Your faith is important to you and it clearly shows in each line you write. When it's time for life to be "easy" it will be. Keep writing it out my friend. Sending nothing by hugs your friend deborah

I'm sorry for your loss. I can tell you feel it deeply. I could do without the offensive word you inserted in there. I think your point could still be made. That word doesn't go along with "Special thanks goes out to Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ" just my opinion. Overall, it was a good read.

Well your sorry? You should be for Jay used that word since a baby. Learned it from his mom who commited suicide only 8 months after Jason's death.
He sais Sorry the next line.
And God loves him so much He took Jason to save otters
all the countless reviews on my work for Jason and this subject garnered 5 and 6 stars,
One a week ago got All Times Best.
    Just a thought.
I never give less than a five unless the piece was horrid.

I feel you are deeply attached to someone who is no longer with us: your dad. Then I looked at the picture and thought your brother is included. I feel your loss because I lost a brother more recent than 2003. Your words were touching.

Hmm. This is different.

Organ donation is a good thing and provides life-sharing opportunities for those in need.

Unfortunately, though, I'm afraid my body is such, it will only be good for cremation.

Thanks for sharing this, Ricky1024. JW

Thanks for the suggestion. However, with having health problems that begin with having congestive heart failure - my cardiologist wouldn't agree I should do that. :-)

The author narrates to further the rights to my heart. Mentions we have no choice at birth likewise no choice at death. Our choice is 'Opportunity.." to make living the best we can and bless others even at point of death by being an organ donor "I Died So You Could Live?". Liked the different story structure and flow of content.

Hi Ricky,

I think coming to terms with loss is one of the hardest things we have to do. I'm also not convinced that we every truly do. We say we do, but in those quiet moments... I'm not so sure.

All the best

    giraffmang,
You at first are devastated and as time progresses, you learn to deal with it.
Journal it and redirect it to help those whom both suffer from their loss and promote...
"Organ-tissue Donations' like what my Son Jason did.
