Never understood bullying.
Never could comprehend how someone could reduce someone else to feelings of embarrassment, unworthiness and fear.
Most victims survive and become strong.
I hope this little guy became a CEO because he would probably have the empathy and compassion to make a great boss : )

I must have been the luckiest unloved creature in the playground, I was never bullied never picked on never shown the back of anyone's hand. But that was all around me I escaped inside books and I found hidey-hole's where nobody knew I was. Great read, sincerely Mabaker

I love this so much! I've been reading through things all morning, and this is my favorite so far. As a mother of two children, I would want them to read this everyday. It speaks so much truth! Great job, and good luck in the contest!

a clever little poem on bullying,
which, sadly, still goes on today
and affects children so badly.
My middle son was badly bullied at school -
simply because he was good-looking and creative
in art and music --- a gang of boys called him no
end of names and constantly shoved him about
until my son had a one to one fight
with the leader who was always threatening to
alter my son's face. Well, in the end I had to go
to the school - the headmaster said I was wasting
my time trying to get through to the boy - or his
father, as the family were all alike. I threatened
to include the police and the bullying stopped???
Good luck with the contest, my friend.
PS - you need to hit edit and further down the page there's a box where you can select "poetry" and then hit save - so it will go in with the poems wher it belongs.

this would be great for middle grade kids, or maybe elementary school kids would know what a CEO is.
Good story with problem, doing something about it, and solution - happy ending all wrapped up in a nifty short poem. good job.

Great story, very good for all kids who are or were bullied. I hope they take your advice. I tried to be cool, failed miserably, haha. Now I teach engineer students who are all nerds, and great fun. Thanks for sharing and have a great day
