Just happened to see this one, and congratulations on your contest win. Who hasn't had a bad oven day? My worst was when I tried to use my red copper square pan. That cornbread recipe sounds delicious. I can imagine how it tastes with the onions, cheese and corn. I love the humor in this, and the rhyme and flow are excellent. Great fun. judi

I love to entertain too, and I can't imagine how you must have felt when something on the thoughtfully planned out menu didn't turn out as expected.

It has humor.
--Your oven sounds a bit like my old dryer before I replaced it. I believe it went on strike, too.

Awww...so sorry!! I think Maytag is a wonderful brand...BUT...our Maytag fridge was making a funny noise this morning. Perhaps they are calling a strike! Loved this, hope it's not an expensive fix, Happy Easter!!!
