Had to come back to this, although I am enjoying all of your portfolio.
I am drawn to humorous poetry because of the tickle it delivers, like a little tonic for our rather strange times. Thank you!

Flossie, I hope you know how wonderful it makes me feel that you are reading things in my portfolio! Goodness, I am delighted and flattered.
Before I joined Fanstory, I just wrote for children, and I tended to be silly a lot, As you can see, it carried over.
You have really made me feel like a million dollars and I thank you! Also thanks for the 6 stars!! Much appreciated!

This is a good story. I enjoyed puzzling out his responses, but sometimes I had to read the next line to totally understand. Congratulations on winning the contest.

This is a very cute entry for the Dialogue Only prompt that you penned. It truly sounds like a visit to the dentist office. You used very good descriptive wording. Best wishes in the contest! Teri

Very humorously written. I always wonder why the dentist/hygienist insists on talking when they have their hands in your mouth. Good use of the dialog to create the humor!

thank you kindly. You know it's funny but my hygienist (female) understands me perfectly and we chat off and on the whole time. We also laugh a lot. (takes a bit longer).
Thanks again,

Dialogues between dentist and smiley patient are humorous in the denting practice are real and the story depicts doctor's sense of humour in replacing a tooth is entertaining, I liked and enjoyed the decayed little humour interaction.

Your reviews are very interesting with your own unique style of writing - for instance, "decayed little humor." ha!
Anyway, many thanks and I'm very glad you liked it!

Excellent use of dialogue. Everything I write depends on dialogue, so I appreciate it greatly. I've yet to try to enter these dialogue only contests.
You made a nice story with just that. Everyone thinks we need tags and backstory and details...and s sometimes we do. But not here.
Great job.

And you should try a dialogue only contest. Give it a shot. It's fun.

This "little dental humor" is excellent. You show your chops at both dialogue and humor in this story about a man who refuses to have the dentist pull his teeth because it would ruin his smile. The patient's garbled dialogue was perfect to show his speech impediment and frustration. This is a highly creative and imaginative story. Thank you for sharing. I wish you success in the contest.
