I'm back for more! It's fascinating to gaze at clouds and see recognizable shapes in them. You captured that sense and much more in this paean to clouds. I thoroughly enjoyed your "masterpiece" metaphor coupled to the "murals" simile and "breaths" image, plus the loving conclusion. Big smiles- Joan

The art work is very special
designed in a way that is like
magic to our eyes.
Clouds would love their
journey in their own way
allowing us to see the design
and the rain they can bring.

A wonderful, whimsical theme,
An opus made for our delight"
A nice focal point. You have masterfully woven together this easy, pleasing read on a subject which has been wondered and written about for ages.
"I've looked at clouds, from both sides now,
From in and out, p and down. It's clouds illusions I recall. I really don't know clouds, at all"
Neil Diamond.
You have lead the reader on a timeless journey, and ended
Beyond the sea
Very well written~
Blessings,

Wonderful verse and imagery.
I love that I I could sail the skies in my minds eye.
And yes, God does paint beautiful pictures.
Bless you for posting.

regarding your notes, yes the shapes are incredible and some do look like massive cotton balls that could hold your weight, but also have the other side of the coin, black and gray, travelling at fast speeds to dump their water/snow or whip into a funnel and destroy massive sections of land and everything on it.\
great imagery, nice subtle rhyming keeping an even flow in the lines.

This poem, A Moving Masterpiece, takes me and, I'm sure, all readers back to the days of lying on our backs and imaging what all the cloud forms meant. Much as ancient man pondered the great movements of gods above the sky, these clouds seemed to take on the images of our greatest joys.

I am not sure who the "you" is that would inhabit with you the cobalt blue but that one would be most content to sail these skies of which you write. Your poem is lovely, perfectly orchestrated rhyme and meter. I particularly love the last stanza and the idea of clouds stretching across infinity...the nth degree of existence and beyond. Thank you for sharing.
Smiles and blessings.

A lovely poem describing the beauty of clouds and alluding it to God's creation. Well done.
As a child, my sister and I used to see objects in clouds and name them to each other.
