Hi Patricia
I really enjoyed reading your lovely story about your cute daughter Panny. I also remember moments of children's funny expressions. The photo is a beautiful one of the three girls.
I spotted one typo

Penny had experience an earthquake.
Penny had experienced an earthquake.

Well done
Mary

I enjoyed reading your story about your oldest daughter and the experience with the earthquake. I know what you mean about those little gems as Greyson gives us those every day we babysit him. I enjoyed reading this very much! Blessings, Teri

What a sweet story! I remember Art Linkletter and his kids say the darndest things. This a delightful recollection, and it must have been great to have some comic relieve after the earthquake. Penny had to demonstrate the effects of the earthquake by wiggling. How cute. You are so right in your observations about children. You are a true story teller in being able to make a comment about children in the contest of your anecdote. Great work. judi

It's the innocience of children that is the precious part of life. some can be so cruel with the words they use as learned from bullies and parents, but the innocience still wins out.

Hi Patricia,

This little story was fun to read and was interesting too.
Your little girls are really cute although they are not little anymore.
Thanks for sharing this story with us. The last line of the second part of what you wrote said: "first time Penny had experience an earthquake". It would sound better to say:: first time Penny had an experience with an earthquake.

Patricia....

What a precious story about your little girl. I also lived in Southern Califoornia and experienced many quakes, back to the "biggie"in the early thirlties if I recall correctly. It was a literal nightmare,, but will not go inot the details, but I do remember the part on how fascinated I was to see the telephone poles whirlly and twrirling similar to your precious daughter's wiggling her bottom/butt, LOL!

I so enjoyed reading it and thank you for sharing it.

This was very well done Patricia. It is a wonderful tribute to not only your vivid memories but to Penny as well. It was a delight to read. Adding the mention of Art Linkletter was a good touch. I agree that children do say the funniest and most amazing things. Great job, thanks.

Hi Pat,
this was a cute story of penny and her cute little wiggle. Children can say and do the funniest things when they are least expected. They can hurt you with their honesty or break your heart with their thoughtfulness. Children are like a breath of fresh air and can make us laugh at their cuteness and innocence. I do not have children but I see how my nieces and nephews fill my sisters with pride and love.
This was a wonderful story and the picture is beautiful.
Bless you.
Brenda:))x
