This 3-5-3 about love, Love's Embers, has the apt metaphor for love revealing that even when unattended, the fires of emotion do not go cold for a long time. Nice.

This 3-5-3 senryu poem had me thinking, "Yep!" Because it is so true. I love how there is a little bit of rhyme between "long" and "gone." Though I have never written a senryu , I enjoyed reading yours.

There are two equally plausible interpretations for this pithy verse. First, a torrid short-term relationship can yield lingering fond memories. Second, in a truly loving long-term relationship, though the initial passion may cool over the years, a warm glow endures within each partner to sustain the couple into old age. Well done, and nicely illustrated.
