Such a tender welcome, I love it, I love it, but then, I am only human. Thank you for missing my writings. I miss my muse as well. But, hope is in the way!

hmm...I'm still thinking about this one.
"Mermaid-like Christmas trims:
unique gifts from the sea.
On my beach, at high tide
and an irreversible urge to bow down.
Tonight, under my Christmas tree--
the roar of the ocean. "
The ending is where I'm having the problem of connecting

Thank you for reading my work, anyway.

Such a nice connection here between the treasures of the seashore and the decorations of Christmas. Nature does so much better a job at it than we do! My efforts to bend down are sometimes irreversible, too, or nearly so! LOL

Nature is so wise...and loving, and forgiving. Easter always come. Thank you for the delightful review that it encouraged me to think.

A unique way to decorate if I understood you correctly. I like the mermaid imagery and I wish the poem were longer! I'm used to reading only rhyming poetry, but this one really tugged at me!

Thank you for reading my short poem and liking the mermaid imagery. It all just came to me in a short walk through the beach, in a beacon of short sun. Your input means a lot to me.

A well written poem about Christmas spent by the ocean. Seashells are a unique gift from the sea. The artwork goes perfectly with the poem.

That is a wonderful poem. I can almost hear the sound of the sea. How clever of you to think of using your seashells as Christmas ornaments. THIS POEM embodies the spirit of Christmas. Well done.

Hi there,
I liked this piece. it is almost merging the seasons and shells do make excellent decorations at this time of the year. I live by the sea too and it has a nice tinge to the cold air with the ocean for Christmas.
Nice piece.

A seaside Christmas by the sound of it. My youngest daughter would like this as she does a lot of driftwood sculpture. If you got together what a fantastic Christmas "tree" the two of you could construct, with a mermaid and a starfish on the top.

Oh what a talented and sweet daughter you have! I would be honored to work with her, good ness gracious. How old is she? This is such a compliment from your part! Blessings.

Anna is fifty-two now. She is not into poetry herself but she draws and paints and creates weird and wonderful things from driftwood as well as carving spoons etc. She has worked as a supply teacher for some time since leaving the profession full time a couple of years ago. If you send me your email address I will ask her if she wants to collaborate in some way.

With ocean crash and massive waves are pounding on the shore. Just the way you like it to bring you the surprises. Beautifully crafted in colours, image and wording. Well done. Blessings, Ella
