So, you travel to Bethlehem every year. Sounds familiar. A beautiful story of Christmas with family. I love those Cracker Barrels also, they are quite a treat. I never can seem to go in and just eat. Thanks for sharing your Christmas trip to PA and your preparations for your family get together. Sounds like you and Tom will have a wonderful family Christmas. The drive scares me a little as the roads everywhere have been treacherous. I hope you've packed extra blankets in the car - just in case you get stuck and have to wait for the traffic to clear.

Thanks for sharing your Christmas journey! It's wonderful to have that close relationship with in-laws. Wow 16 hours is such a long drive! (You missed "a" in the sentence, "It is sixteen hour). My favorite part was the phrase, "arms of love outstretched" which was a perfect conclusion to such a long journey for a family reunion! Blessings on your family time and Christmas!

Having good family is a wonderful thing Teresa you are fortunate your "mum" and Dad Shortess are still alive I have lost both sides of parents but Christmas brings good memories. I am from Australia. What place is PA?

So nice you have wonderful in-laws and family to spend Christmas with. My husband's family is estranged from us and my family is in Florida. But, we will celebrate - just small.
