Hello, Mike,
I agree with you. I don't support bigotry and prejudice based on ignorance. I don't want ISIS terrorists in our country but I am not sure immagration laws are going to keep us safe. I definititely don't want a freaking wall.

HI Michael, this is a very touchy subject...there are good and bad that go with it...I have no problem with other nationalities coming here...but not to take our jobs...and live for free...we should not lose jobs we have had for years...because they can be replaced with cheaper workers...men and women work for years to earn what they do...it's wrong...and when I go shopping and Mexican family wearing shoes that could buy my entire wardrobe...and more gold on then what is in Fort Knox...and paying with food stamps....it just rubs me the wrong way...not all are like that...but to many are...very well written you... love Linda xxoo

you are very brave to have taken on this subject. I know that it is an opinion from both sides of the argument but some people are to serious to see it as a tongue in check exercise. I thought both your sides were very informative and stood there corner quite well and you managed to make it quite amusing, as well.

Very well-written letters on the issue of immigration which always have their pros and cons. There is quite a difference between real refugees and an army of men who infiltrates a country with the aim to kill and destroy. We here in South Africa emigrates to New Zealand and Australia in flocks to escape the bad situations here, but many like myself have nothing to offer in terms of working to earn an income, I am already a welfare case with a disability, so I am stuck here and have to make the best of whatever the situation evolved into.
NS: I decided not to partake in the prose potlatch for a while.

I'm sort of stuck in the desert the same way. I have a house full of disabled folk. It's a hot issue here with Trump talking about building a wall etc. Neither letter is really my exact view. I tried to stay in character with both of them. The more liberal view is more me though. :))
Sorry to hear you won't be around for the prose potlatch for a while. Love your contributions. Can I bribe you with a new car? I hope it isn't anything someone said. Thanks for the great review. mikey

The first letter is real stand up on your soapbox in the park style and with the sarcasm and humour thrown in it makes for a good read. As does the other half of the debate where you appeal more to the emotions. You have debated yourself extremely well with this.
