I have found this potlatch challenge to be very frustrating! I have reads loads of them and I want them all to continue! So, my question, will I find out what happens????? This is such a good start, Mikey. Who set up this challenge? I will go and ask them to make the next challenge, the rest of the story! LOL! I never did get over the whole hippie thing. Thank God I still have the hair. I worry it may turn grey though. LOL mikey

I am a hippie at heart too and I still wear my hippie gypsy earrings and bangles. Peace and Love have been my motto since the 60s, my entire life. The age of Aquarius was an unforgettable one ... at least for me.

I certainly enjoy all these Potlatch poems and stories. I like that they create a degree of competition between the writers, yet everyone is rooting for everyone else, too. And also I like that writers are encouraged to write fast. I learned early on by reading an author named "Peter Elbow," yes, and it's a real person. I write everything as fast as I can, always. My last post, for a 500 word prompt, I wrote in 11 minutes. Of course, I re-read and changed things for two days after that. You might check him out, as he has some good ideas, which aren't new, but he was one of the pioneers. Thanks for the pleasure of another fine read. :-)
