Great poem! I like how you use the spacing and gaps. I do that too. It fits well, as if it gives split seconds to think between the lines. Very creative with the red and blue words, like each side. It all adds to the drama.

Great Poem. We all have two natures. We are Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. But I love the words" underneath all of this I feel fear, unleash faith within, love is near." Faith is always within our hearts. Great.

Bravo....I read the poem the first time together and enjoyed the rhyme sense to it. However am new to that acrostic technique but found the style very interesting and particularly the cross over from negative thinking to positive thinking by the nature of God. A touching sentiment..... excellent job!

This is a beautiful poem with a very good message that brings out the human side of things vs how God sees things. The poem is very well composed and is very impressive. The contrast in the colours compliment the poem. A great poem where the light of God destroys the darkness. "Nothing left but to bow down and pray." I like to say: "Prayer is powerful and when we pray things will happen and things will be done. God answers our prayers." Well done.

So beautifully composed! I love the way darkness is portayed here. Almost as if to say that the darkness is required in order for the light to exist. "Only what lies inside climbs the ladder" such a captivating line. Thank you for sharing!

I don't give many of my measly stash of sixes for poetry of any kind except for the few that I just can't hold back from. I definitely don't know why or the particulars of any form of poetry, but I'm not so dumb that I can't give praise to those that smack me upside my silly head or ring melodious in my nearly deafened ears. This is one of the most beautiful religious poems I have ever read! I love how the two can be read individually or combined. This truly reflects the relationship between God and Man. Apart, they are both strong, but together, abslolutely amazing!!! I don't give six stars often, but this is deserving of ten! Great work, Mikey :)

Wow. I'm so thrilled you enjoyed this so much. I was hoping the colours and all would make it easier to separate the two pieces. The font had to be so small because of the new format.
