Cute poem and I'm glad that you two got some time away and alone. Might try a fatter, wider seat, I hate those skinny ones, they do leave saddle sores. or fatten up the bum for padding. lol leg squats.

Ha! Ha! Fifty kilometres on a bike and I'd be walking funnily for a week - the Ministry of Silly Walks wouldn't be in it! Bacon and egg butties brought back some happy memories! I once knew a girl in London whose favorite fare was chip butties! LOL

Hi Ray :) Thank you for your lovely comments. Not feeling too bad this morning tbh - I've been out for a 4k run to stretch out and try to run the aches off - feel it in my knees and my bum bones most! That egg and bacon butty was to die for LOL!

This sounds like a real fun day but can I make a suggestion - get a tandem, ok you might need to look at a bum all the way through the bike ride but you won't need to do all the work :) Hope you had a happy birthday.
