Continually, over and over, all I ever hear is someone's opinions on the issues, but not once, in many years, I have ever heard any candidate talk about what's best for the people and families of America. The families that have basically been replaced by robots whose brains have been so over taxed by computers, I-Pads, games, and now, even phones in constant demand of our every thought and available second. Donald Trump's ego is his only reason for wanting to be president, and people should stop fooling themselves by imagining that he gives a damn about the little people and their lives. What would make anyone of us think he regards us with more compassion than the Mexicans, Latinos, or the poor New Jersey people who were convinced of all the jobs and prosperity the casinos would bring to their communities? Wake up America! Great piece and good luck. :-)

Thanks very much for the thoughtful review. Sorry, I honestly didn't mean to offend. I was simply basing my comment on Trump's many inflammatory remarks about a number of minorities, and the widespread outrage I have seen expressed by various minorities. You are absolutely right, it doesn't mean that all members of a given minority feel a particular way, and I certainly didn't mean to suggest that. I was referring to the minority vote in it's totality.

I thought this was a really good essay. I don't know what to say about Trump; he's one of a kind. The fact that he has held onto so much support is baffling. I don't think a dialogue will be created by any of this. In the word's of Ron White, "You can't fix stupid."

Good for you that you looked closely at his tax reform and reported it in a highly professional piece of writing. I haven't examined his bankruptcies, but check again, as I believe he went into bankruptcy protection four times, but emerged from the court shelter. Of course that could mean--I don't know, so I'm just posing the thought not presenting it as a statement--that he negotiated his debt and paid a small portion of the corporate liability.

Off the top of my head, I believe he did re-negotiate re-payment terms that were much more favorable to him. The settlements are very complex, and I believe in at least one case he had to relinquish his ownership shares in that particular business. Thanks again for the very kind review. Bill

He approaches America now carrying a big stick as he swings it mightily toward the political wolves who has almost taken Lady Liberty down to the grown. With ragged torn clothing almost in threads, he symbolises much of the principals our nation was founded upon. Much like, the late General Patton and criticized in a similar manner. Am I a Donald Fan? Personally, I see nothing on either side with Godly wisdom, but to answer this review in earnest, be prepared for an outsider to take the driver's seat. I suppose we will soon know either way. LOL.
