Congratulations on your third place win! The whole thing is just too funny from beginning to end. I don't have any sixers left, unfortunately, but I'm still laughing. Evi

Funny and creative. Mrs. Claus is a straight back bone woman with a surprisingly lazy drunk husband. He had to work once a year and blows that. I wondered how he'll make it without her next year? Good luck with the contest.

Your all time best award is very well deserved. This fun poem is so delightfully good that I wish that I had written it. I have read many poems that I enjoyed, but few have made me actually wish that I had written them. Although we do not have a booze bus here in America, I totally understood its meaning and purpose. This great poem made me laugh out loud more than once. Great job.

This is awesome Steve. I'll bet you had a great time writing it. It was a joy to read and I was smilin' all the way through. Mrs. Sandy Claus sounds like a very no-nonsense lady (well except for turning the reindeer into chamois cloths - that was a bit harsh)
Great job m'dear.
This looks like a winner to me.
Rose.

Thanks, Rose. Yes, it was a lot of fun to write. I find that if I actually make myself laugh, then I've got something that is bound to be well-received.

I feel you why take the cold when there is warmth. A good composition with humorous spots in its read course. I found to be delighting.

Oh, I definitely have to spend a 6 on this. It is too funny. Sandy was very good at organizing and prioritizing. With her, the trip went very smoothly while Santa himself slept it off. I loved her order to Rudolph about dimming his nose. The kids might take notice if she didn't touch any milk, cookies, or adult beverages. Every reindeer and elf really snapped to it when she gave orders. I think I have a clue as to why Santa had taken to drink. Would she really leave Santa for warmer climes after she did such a great job with Christmas delivery? Great rhyme in this and it flowed superbly. Best of luck in the contest. judi

Judi, thanks for the great review and the six stars - much appreciated! I think you are the only female reviewer to show ANY sympathy for Santa. Good thing I didn't make him a womaniser too...

You're very welcome. I did think Sandy came across as Obsessive-Compulsive. judi

This was a change of pace that was fun fun and more fun. Quite a change from most the reads today. I love writers that carry us to the lighter side. It is a great write indeed.
