A poem doesn't have to be a show-stopper to be great. If it got the juices flowing again, then by all means rhyme to your heart's content. Keep on doing it. Who knows? Maybe this will somehow put the games in the Panthers' favor (i.e. superstitution and all that).

I am not a sports fan and so I can't identify with it all that much. The one thing I enjoy the most is ice skating even though I have never learned to ice skate myself. Keep on writing and keep up the good work.

It's got a good beat and could easily turn out into the official song of the Panthers. Put it to music.

Thank you. I have a soft spot for that team. When my husband and I had no money for Christmas presents for each other, he wrote to them and asked for an autographed team picture to give me. They sent a Christmas present for all of us. N autographed football, hat, tshirt, lanyard, and a photograph of Cam Newton. They went above and beyond and it seems like every story I hear about them they give 150%. Sorry, but I get to going on and on about them. Gretchen

You have to write about the things that come from your heart. You did a fine job in my opinion. Nice quatrains with abcb rhymes. Many sports enthusiasts would relate to your theme. My Blue Jays had a fantastic season which gave Canadians great happiness this year after a long dry spell.
