A seven! Great witness for the nations to only believe in JESUS and have eternal life. One needs to be in the word but also go out and touch others in love. We can share love by being kind. The Pharisees read the word but didn't connect to Christ.

Excellent

I liked this explanation of the scripture. I read the Bible sometimes myself and though I do not go to church I used to and valued Sunday School especially. I used to like asking questions about meaning and relevance of stories and I often played the devil's advocate. I do believe in the divinity of Christ, however, and also believe that someday he will return to Earth in physical form and establish his kingdom. Nice writing.

Thank you very much for your comments. I believe Jesus encouraged honest questions and the bible is very well able to answer such. I hope you will find a church where they hold your same belief about Christ and give it a chance. Remember, "Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it". You can be a Christian outside the church but both the church and you are deprived in some way of what each has to offer. God bless you, Dennis
