I really like your contrast between steel and wisps of wonder. Just because something like grace is akin to lace does not mean that it does not have the tensile strength to hold and carry you through.

Wonderful examples of alliteration in this Antomym poem, DALLAS, with "stronger than steel" and, "weaves wisps of wonder".
The first two lines flow flawlessly together, spiraling down into sorrow and despondency.

Great example of exact opposites here, just as this type of poetry is designed to illustrate.

Best of luck to you in the contest...~Dean

Thanks for giving me a great model on how to do this. Hope stronger than steel--brilliant.
And that unbendable steel WEAVING! Incredible
wisps through despair.
Every word is a gem. I'm betting you'll take the prize.

Thanks for the illustrious review, Shari. My first antonym. It was a real challenge. But then anything new is. There are still a couple of very popular forms that I steer clear of.

Hi. I hope you did well in the contest...becasue this is a wonderful peom. I like the turn around and I like the way it is not sentimental, but grounded and still soft.

This is so powerful and well written. You get my last six of the week! I rarely give a six on a short form. A great antonym poem. Good luck in the contest.

Excellent use of words that captures a light feeling and has a good feeling that comes through. Weaves wisps of wonder through is a clever line, I like the use of the words that begin with w.

Oh, hope very wonderful this poem is, including your choice of artwork - I would love to have this on my wall! The ambiance, the message, the alliteration - it's all so gorgeous (and inspiring), and how you managed to convey all this in so few words shows true talent, IMO. Bravo. (In fact, although I seldom use one of our sparsely-assigned sixes for a small poem, if I had any, this one would have one.)

EXCEPTIONAL!!!***************************!!!

Thank you so much, Dawn, for the illustrious review. I loved the artwork also. I have begun a project that will be monopolizing most of my free time but will be ducking in and out periodically.

Hi, busy lady. Thank you for finding the time to enter this contest using a new form (to me anyway). I admired the uplifting message, "steel" hyperbole and addition of alliteration. Your creation is the perfect interpretation of the prompt and should be well-recognized in the voting booth. Brava! -Joan

Hi, stranger. thank you for the awesome review. I began a project that will be monopolizing most of my free time for several months but will be ducking in from time to time. This is a new form for me also. Very interesting.

This is beautiful. Your poem says so much in a small space. Good job with alliteration with [s] and [w].

Good choice of antonyms. Strong message in your poem. No changes.

Good job and good luck in the contest.
