Wisdom brims over from every paragraph; some of it is grass-roots awareness, much is academic and scientific. Is our writer bound down by the hefty heritage he has inherited, binding himself into a gilded cage or is he preoccupied with those areas where his intuition shines like the cosmos. Whatever the case, he presents himself as a most civilized man perhaps searching for his salvation. Has he succeeded in finding it? I think he is searching for a soul mate which of course is not my business.. -Ekim777

G'day mate. This is a very well written and presented piece on evolution. There are many different schools of thought and many humans get stuck on the same treadmill and never evolve from what the parents etc. say. Cheers Fez

Your writing style is easy on the reader, although, in my excitement I was trying to speed-read, to take in
all, more quickly. Fortunately, I forced myself to slow down and tried to absorb some
of what you share. It will only be with multiple readings, that I can hope to learn more.
I'm new to FS, and so grateful to have had the opportunity to read your piece.

This is a very thorough and well researched dissertation on the human condition via evolution. The human mind both enobles us and restricts us, and I agree, religion and socail mores tend to block growth, while maintain order and balance.
I like your flea circus analogy and how breaking the jars is the better option!

The essay on evolution is thought-provoking. Your way of emphasis by retaining the hyphen after the prefix dis for words discomfort and disappear is interesting. The anecdote of fleas circus naraated by Zig drrives home the point.The role of ego has been explained well.

This is fairly well-written overall. I liked the variation in sentence structure, and of course the topic gave me (the reader) a lot of food for thought.
However, I would add an anecdote or a concrete example in one of the first few paragraphs. It starts off a bit dry and I feel that, unless someone is used to reading philosophy, you may lose a lot of readers. (Which is unfortunate, because overall it's an interesting piece!)
I was fascinated by the contrast of logic and machine-related imagery on the one hand, and respect for "Mother Nature" on the other. That's not something you see often. I've met people who care deeply about the environment/social issues and can express things artistically (in a painting, poem etc), and people who are hyper-logical but indifferent to social issues, but not many people who can combine the two.

In this age of information it often astounds me how many will simply ignore information they don't want to know or confront, and refuse to revise their world view.
