Mikey, this is a fitting end to a powerful and thought-provoking part one story. There is so much potential in the story line and you should move forward. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

Thank you so much. You've had such wonderful input all the way through. Much appreciated. I thought I'd end this here as Book 1 and then take a breath and then carry on with Book 2. This turned out to be much more epic than I had planned. I guess I really liked them and was reluctant to knock them off. :)) Even so, I let them drift into the fog where they still may be to this day!! Ha! Thank you so much. mikey

Just a beautiful and satisfying ending to what turned out to be an epic tale. A good choice to end here on this emotional note. Looking forward to much more. So many possibilities. A great book!!

Lovely ending to a good part one, Mikey. The stories all grabbed us readers and we cared about the characters. Now we want to see more. Book Two starting soon? I hope. :)

I love the ending and can't wait for their next lifetime. I'm anxious to see who they will become and how their destiny will interact.

You might recall my review for your last chapter when Cassius spoke of his wedding with Lourdes and the ones to be married with them weren't mentioned by name. I was confused then because, while I didn't think I had missed Valerius and Julia being married, I KNOW Valerious mentioned HIS wife. Do you recall my question then?

A dynamic ending with excellent foreshadowing of the next phase of their adventure together

Lovely story. So romantic and vibrant. I loved each character, so now I must go to your site and read the book. This is why I came to this spot, so I can learn from great writers like you. Thank for the tale, its awesome.

Great ending to this story, Mikey. So sweet that they intuitively knew they were together before and were meant to be together in this lifetime. Love the mystical ending--entertaining tale. Well done and congratulations for finishing another story.

This is a perfect ending to this awesome story. I am so pleased you plan to write at least one, possibly two more books. I will leave it to you to decide whether or not to include lives they lived apart...either way, I know it will be fascinating and I anxiously look forward to reading them.

My New Year's resolution was to attend to my books and forget Fanstory (not completely, of course)I am so pleased I decided to remove the pressure from my head and I am really enjoying my retirement!!!! I also had the eye operation the other day, so health wise I have to take care. I think you should try to relax a bit. You should not be worried about rankings anymore, you have already got a trophy! Regarding your story, this is supposed to be a review!! It was great, I have to admit I liked the parts best where the soul mates were together on earth. I think the heaven sequence has less appeal as it is too detached from life and we need people to feel, to enjoy best. Just my opinion. Excellent write as always. Faye

And so we come to the end of all things. It's difficult to think of this story starting 67 chapters ago. I will say that I am glad as you went along that the narrator (I forget his name) was phased out. I believe that I had commented more than once that his part was a bit overbearing. I would see him left in the final draft, but in a reduced role. I would say this ending is a little anti-climactic, but it's not. Your main story ended for me when Leo finally died. The rest has been cleanup and epilogue as far as I'm concerned. You built such an incredible tension with Leo and the church hunting Julia and company that once he was gone, the rest was details for the faithful readers. I did love the fact that you left them to roam in the mist for others to see. It leaves an air of mystery to their fate.
I will admit that there were a few chapters that seemed to drag (and I told you about them in the reviews) but those were very few and very far between. I think overall you just tend to get a bit longwinded when you're on a roll. During the edit process you should boil down and reduce some of your story.
When you first started this project (how many months ago) I was interested in your concept, but I think the real strength of the book came in the last two sections, when you took the time to really get to know your characters.
An excellent job. An excellent book. I hope that you continue to revise into the next one. Looking forward to it.
