The story of rise and fall of greedy realtors is same everywhere and you have penned the poem telling such a story based on your personal knowledge. One feels for the tragic end for the man apparently made of his own making and more so for the family who are made to suffer.

Wow! What a fantastic, lyrical gem. Dylan is one of my favorite artists. I can imagine him singing this. You tell a story of which I've heard in a number of different ways. It runs in a clear way, easy to follow, yet still genuinely original. Knowing that this is based on a true story makes it all the more real. AWESOME! Les

This really is a good story with great rhythm and rhyme.

The poem flowed quite beautifully.

I saw you said it was based on fact. It certainly read that way. Tragedy certainly provides great material for writers

This is very well written. It's a very sad poem, and too bad this is how it works. We get to taking for granted, and when the bank breaks, we do too. Horrible thing to get behind. I have two kids laid off right now. One is very depressed. So I know what this story brings to mind. Drew

Quite a story and very well told. It really sounds like it should be sung as 'The Ballad of Hunter Grace'.

A good ballad brought on the the effects of the real estate bust. Bankers that made billions off of tragic stories like Hunter' should hang their heads in shame.

Thanks for shareing such a tragic story in a fabulously worded poem. It reminds me of a few fictional stories I have read. Never found the guy's body? Yikes. Maybe he jumped in on purpose?

I remember the downturn in the property market in America and you have described the person involved in real estate very well. I don't suppose he was the only one who felt the way Hunter Chase did. A good poem about this event in good abcb rhyme and a sad final line. Well written and a good read. Warm regards Dorothy x

When life becomes unbearable, when cash runs dry and one is neck-deep in debt, most people's recourse is to die and leave loved ones behind, as what happened to Hunter Grace. Butt the guilt rests heavier on the guiltless loan sharks who prey on vulnerable victims. Thanks for sharing, God bless.

G'day Alice. That is a really well written piece that flows nicely and tell of a really tragic tale. Money and material posession we can't take with us, but the love for God we can. Great work and cheers Fez
