This sounds like a wonderful place that is much needed. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for children to deal with the loss of a loved one. It is hard enough for adults but children have so much less experience in life to fall back on and help them cope.

I have only 5 stars to give, but consider it 6. I've not heard of Camp Cocoon before, but what a wonderful name for it. I'm impressed by the talent and clarity it took to write your poem. Rhyming and content are great as well as your fine explanation of this organization.

The outdoors, with many lakes and trees, has been a 'healing place' since the beginning. I could see counselors incorporating the bereaved youth and nature to make some sense of life's tragedies. I enjoyed the poem and the message. Happy New Year.

Your poem is certainly right on the money as a tribute to this wonderful non-profit venture.
The verse is a little uneven, perhaps, due to the requirement to get details of names etc in, but I understand why you must include those.
What a wonderful idea - not one I have ever seen in other places - long may it continue in its good work.

A great tribute to what sounds like an excellent organisation and what a great idea. Sometimes the children get forgotten when a loved one is lost. Often the parents may be grieving themselves, and unable to find that little extra for their child. Sound like there are so many activities and a lot of caring.
