Are you talking about when you get reviews and you don't respond? I try to respond as soon as I can but sometimes life gets in my way. I also don't respond right away if changes need to be fixed because I also want to fix whatever it is they brought up before I respond so I don't forget about it and sometimes I can't make the change right away. But I do try and I think most people on here at least try.

A very well-written statement. It is just good manners to answer and thank a reviewer for his time and effort to read and review your work even if it is a bit late.

Thanks Sandra. I posted this a long time ago. I felt it was needed to put it up again for some of the newer members. Was not looking for any more points as it has the top award anyway. Cheers.

Thanks, Sis Good hearing from you. As you can see already I had the top award so was not looking for more points mainly trying to teach a few newby's a thing or two. HEHE!

Are you actually saying that some writers are being so rude as to not thank their reviewers.
It takes time to read and review--especially a long prose piece or a complex sonnet.

Hi Ellen, yeah that is what I was doing back when I wrote this. As you see it already made the Top award so I was not looking for more points. Just trying to 'learn' a few more of the newby's.

If you're afraid of being criticised don't post. If you want to improve, post and hope for critical comment as that brings improvement to your writing skills.
But above all, respond.

Thanks another new friend I reckon I have had so many wonderful rteviews I had meant this to be a promo of the whole book Tom helped me so I promo'd the book with another poem from it.

I like this a lot and it takes honesty when you analyze a piece of work. Most important you have to know how to review a piece by using you literary intelligence and not just use what sounds good.

Hi friend can't remember if we met before I meant to promote the book I asked Tom to help me as nI was not trying to promote just this poem on it's own. Did you see anyof the other poems or writings (no t all poems) Thanks for coming by. Appreciate the Big Six I just noticed as well.

Yep, I get that. The last line can be read and interpreted two ways. Very clever. The poem is concise, no silly mistakes, to the point.

Here is like anywhere else. People have sometimes face, sometimes masks. Even the respect exist in limited doses. In few words, the indifference is the easiest form of intolerance.

Thanks I was trying to promote the entire book this time as I has recently has as you saw a heap of great reviews so did not think it necessary to promote just this one. Hope Tom can help me sort it out.
