Congratulations on the purchase of the new home. No matter what state it is in, we can go only as far as our dreams, so dream .. big, then bigger!

Yes, I'll be praying. Prayed for your mother-in-law this morning too (I said I would, didn't it??)

Home is where you and your partner are my friend. Not in the building. Stop looking at the BIG picture, it is overwhelming. Do what you can "Just for today." When we look at one project at a time, do our best each day, then we have done enough. Looking at one day at a time we have hope. All will be well.

I hope everything works out for you. What a grand plan and all so giving to others. This house reminds me of the book I just published. "My walls Speak" about a 100 year old house who tells her own story. I'm sure this house has a story too.

I love the way you've written your poem to describe the purchase and all that has followed, so far! Your words and lines have a scattered feeling (maybe like your new home), but it's totally understood. Your last stanza sums it all up:
