A happy poem about the moon. It isn't one of fear and condemnation. Instead. the moon is a companion working in league with the sun to provide comfort during darkness.

Another beautifully written poem and photo used. I'm impressed with your clever use of words, flow, rhythm and progression. Everything surely does seem to build upon each other... Keep 'em coming, Deb

First the sun, now the moon, what's next he ocean? :)
Beautiful meter and rhyme as always in a cute story with great personification and a duel message floating out there. I enjoyed the read very much.
All the best, Rodger :)

Dear Brooke,
Moonlight can be enchanting and a true friend, but it is more fickle than the sun. Moonbeams disappear and only return after a self induced absence.
Warm regards,
Winslow

This is another adorable little poem that makes a whole lot of sense in a world of much confusion. I love the ABCB rhymes and of course your perfect meter, which makes your poems flow like silk in the breeze. This is just beautiful and sweet and charming, and I keep thinking Sawyer is someday going to be reading your beautiful poetry to his children. :p (I'd read them to my great-grandchildren if only I had a book!!!)

Hello Brooke,
I loved this follow-up to, "I Issued an Invitation". I have to say I enjoy the night as much as the day,(I love to sleep!) Besides, evening should get it's "moment-in-the-sun" also. Lol.
Solid rhyme and meter made for an enjoyable read...it was a pleasure, Bill

Very lovely, Brooke. I like the sun, but like watching the moon, when it is out too. That is a beautiful picture for your poem. Well done. Miss Sally

Beautiful picture and poem combination. As always, your rhyming is spot on and the poem tells a wonderful story. Your poetry is almost mesmerizing, and always a pleasure to read. Great job!

Ah, once again you delight with your wonderfully evocative poem, my friend - the moon is my friend too. There is nothing quite as beautifully serene, unless, perhaps, it is the sentiment evoked by such a lovely poem. Gorgeous!!! (Special mention for the stunning srtwork, too!)
