I can always count on you to pull me out of the sugary malaise of love soaked tomes that are churned out for this contest! Whew. This is so perfectly flowing. I can't help but smile and commit to trying some pickles and ketchup. Can't argue with his formula for happiness! mikey

Thanks so much, Mikey - yeah, I'm not into that kind of syrupy sweet stuff either :-) Brooke

So enjoyable.
All of those 'favorite things' were placed with well timed rhymes and clever word connections that offered strong emotional language. This gave the piece a tender touch with warm humor.
Great.

Fantastic! How adorably cute is he! This poem and the picture just go together hand-in-hand (with you, too!). I was smiling and chuckling to myself the whole way through. Had to read it again just for fun. As I am reading this during my work day (shhhh....), the break for a smile is truly appreciated.

What a happy poem!

I like the picture of the little boy and the words you use in third stanza: 'pants with a pocket, locks with a key...' before you go on to turn it into lovey doveness, the pocket and key remind me of 'what little boys are made of poem'.

So even though your poem gets quite into loving cuddles and such, I'm still thinking about little boys and their fun.

Cutesy, love it!

A very thought provoking poem about the things in life.
Some of the stuff we all seem to take for granted. Yet it is a very nice poem. Very good.

Wow, Sawyer has grown up lots since I was last here. He is gorgeous Brooke!

Lovely poem about the important companions to things in the little mans life, written with nice flow and rhymes.

My Mikey used to have mint jelly on everything.
