This poem is such a nice tribute to two families coming together. That can sometimes me a difficult situation. There is so much positivity here with wonderful words such as "blending, embrace, enduring" that one can already feel the closeness of this new family. The rhyme is consistent and the rhythm works well! The picture is the "icing on the Cake" (couldn't help myself.) Smiles ... Congratulations!

This is lovely, and loving. The picture is also. I like how you used the scenery of the wedding within the description of your prayers for their union. Very well penned.

I wanted to be cheerful but not to lie and so went to the web and learned second marriages last no better, if as well,
as first ones. So. Good luck to the bride and groom. The
worst scenario is if one partner has kids and the other does not. Live and learn...excellent quatrains...

What a beautiful picture. It captures hope and solidarity in its net. Good luck to the newlyweds. Love is even more precious the second time around. Loved all of the alliteration.

That was lovely. So melodic and perfectly worded to express the joy and hope in a new beginning. Love "kiss the shore" (kiss the bride) and "face the world as 'we.'"

Congratulations on the marriage of your daughter and the gain of a son-in-law. What a beautiful poem for their 'special' day. Let us hope their lives are joined forever and the children must be so proud and in a way, they have been joined together through the bonds of their parents.

They look so happy. Maybe being the second marriage for both, they'll not make those mistakes young folks often do. This is a good poem for them... for all couples hoping to be strong TOGETHER and work to support, not oppose, each other. :)
