So perfect that I didn't notice the form at all. Every word of this belonged exactly where it was and added beautifully to the deep meaning. A true poetic work of art. Moving and just wonderful. mikey

Brooke, wonderful rhyming. I do love those breathtaking
moments in the Fall when the leaves are gorgeous.
I'm looking forward to seeing that beauty soon.

Beautiful use of personification in this
lovely Pantoum about Autumn.
Repeating lines blended well, terrific rhyme, and imagery.
I like the use of contrast of the breath-taking beauty of fall color
with the drabness of death as befits that day. Nancy

I truly review this beautiful poem as exceptional, TIME, gives truth to the statement that "tomorrow (time) is not promised, so each moment of peace and beauty is a gift, the Father mercy and grace.

I like the metaphor employed here with a compelling comparison of autumn with the event of September 11. Very well done with instinctive imagery.

I like your modified Pantoum very much, Brooke. The Pantoum is one of my favorite styles of poetry, and you used it beautifully, modified or not.

You are correct in that autumn is a scenic time of year. What a great season it is when trees have such beauty despite the dying of their many leafy children.

well done Brooke

What a truly beautiful poem with the symbolism of Autumn. I found this poem particularly inspiring - the inevitability of passing time and death and what a magnificent allegory with Autumn. Almost as if we can have ' one last go at it too!' The rhytmn and rhyme perfect too. Love the picture too!
