I missed this one, and it is beautiful, with great rhyming. Very nice internal rhyming...wiggling, squiggling,...round, round. Very witty to weave in Grandpa and Grandma. Cheerful way to describe the brilliance of the lawn as gold. LOL!

Another pretty children's rhyme about what happens when the rain falls, drop by drop, then what will happen when it has stopped. The rain falls, the worms wriggle from the ground and puddles form. The rain stops, the worms leave and the flowers bloom.

Very good poem. It rhymes well and has good rhythm. It would be fun to read it aloud to kids and then take them outside to look for dandelions.

This is such a darling children's poem. Next time we have a healthy crop of dandelions, I'll tell my husband the rain Wizards put them there. LOL. Love the accompanying artwork. I'm sorry Sawyer is living in a drought.

What a charming, perfectly written poem . I could just see the smiling worms and then a field of dandelions popping up...You can take any subject matter can make it sing.

Drops have gathered, puddles form,
plops aplenty from the storm --
hundreds, thousands, millions, more,
where there was no rain before.
As usual Brooke, an amazing about children. You reach out to them with your poetry and your rhyming gives the reading a happy thought of the meaning meant in your story. Love the picture, which it was Sawyer to see him. Beautiful Bless u Terry xoxo
