I enjoyed this poem. It tells a story and in the acrostic, it has an inherent story line, including ordinary life with hopes, inciting incident (Inspiration, heart forms desire), turning points (Next sojourn deviates unexpected), black moment (Optimism begins to fade), final battle (questioning reasons why), and resolution (Mystery wraps each soul). There is a rhythm to each line, which gives it a structure. So although I prefer rhyming poems because of their song-like meter, this one feels like a song too. A song about life's journey, which I believe was your intent.

I am so sorry for the reason behind the poem. The acrostic is excellent and the interweaved lines. I think we all live in a maze and amazement that we are on this planet Earth at all. You capture many feelings and thoughts in this poem that others share (the conundrum) and I wish I had a six left but have used them all. Best wishes, great poem, Hatter :)

It really deserved a six. Best acrostic I have seen in some time. Is it a contest entry? Best wishes, Hatter

A challenging form of poetry that the author has handled with a delicate ease. The ebb and flow of this piece makes for a particular good read as the subject matter is haunting and thought provoking. Well done.
Till the last amen

I would use some complicated words to describe this poem, but you have already used them all.
I will admit that I felt lost half of the time, but that was the cool part.
Awesome job.

This is the Journey of Life which we all must travel from the moment we take our first breath. It is a set journey with a predestined purpose which we must accomplish before the journey's end. Good work.

a solid acrostic for Living In A Conundrum
good alliteration in possibilities passions and in paradise personal and composed courageous and quandary questioning
a thoughtful look at death and the emotions it elicits when we lose a loved one
