I love the message of this. Perfection in the writing. I can't even suggest anything almost helpful! Miranda is getting quite good at these great shots. When are you going to put these in a book? mikey

Lest I run The Little Rascals into the ground, this little cutie looks a good bit like Darla.
You have a lovely way of turning all things into a positive and redeeming situation. Sunny dispositions and looking at the best in life is a gift from God and one which you seem to have taken truly into your heart.

Hi,
Lovely way to express how beautiful and important love can be, no need to need to lead our lives with heavy feelings in our heart and mind.
Good flow and rhyme.

It's such a temptation to fall into the trap of thinking the poem is about
the picture. . .the chronicling of your hopes and dreams for Sawyer -
But I think there is much more to the poem than that simple reaction.
I think it is about a way of life - - -a personal philosophy of love being
at the center of joy and happiness. Both in the giving and the receiving.
Nicely penned Brooke :-)

"...sorrow's such a needless way to waste away life's passing." What a profound line! And what a shame it would be indeed to miss love and hope just from not paying attention. Love, Jeanie

I never stop wondering about your 'instant imagination"-How you aptly write the words that seem to jump out of the picture.-'For in loves possibility/lies hope for each tomorrow' and it is very important that we recognize it when we see it.Enjoyed reading it.

Brooke, this poem is so sweet! First, the pic is a perfect compliment to the poem, so much that perhaps the pic inspired the words!?? I love seeing Sawyer's anticipatory stance... So cute these two!!
Love is something special and can sneak up on us! To be attentive to its approach is ideal if one wants to fully benefit from its embrace! Great to read your well-rhymed writing again! Thanks for sharing this with me.
